At Viveka Foundations the CBSE curriculum is tailored with a multi-dimensional, child centric approach, which is both interactive as well as pragmatic. The Academic year is from APRIL to MARCH. The session is divided into two terms. The first starts from April – September and the second term from October- March. The school has classes from Play Way to XII std.
At the Play way level, children adapt themselves to a new setup away from their home environment. A well-balanced curriculum and theme-based instruction help the young minds integrate their learning smoothly. Here learning takes place through various activities. The emphasis is on exploring, knowing, understanding and forming their ideas.
VFS encourages inquiry and exploration, and develops children's competence in various skills - reading, writing, listening, speaking, problem-solving, observation, measurement and use of information and communication technology.
Exposure to different aspects of life:
Holistic education encompasses the development of the cognitive, psychomotor and affective domains. It is imperative that students are provided with the opportunity for the development of each of these domains. VFS curriculum is designed to ensure this.
As per the latest developments and CBSE guidelines, the students can opt for a unique combination of subjects which will help them in a long way to pursue various careers and avenues at national and international platform.
Our “Holistic approach” within the ambit of CBSE makes it possible for us to serve our Senior Secondary students with a wide spectrum of subjects to choose from, including English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, Computer Science, Political Science, Psychology, Geography, Entrepreneurship and Physical Education.
